Obituary:

Adam Eugene Thomure, 37 of Ozark, MO was born on November 20th, 1979 in Houston, MO the son of Mike and Jean (Jarrett) Thomure of Cabool, Missouri. He departed this world on July 19th, 2017.

He was an adventurous boy with many stories to tell, always with a funny grin on his face.

He graduated from Cabool high school in 1998. Following graduation he joined the Marine Corp. He was stationed at Camp Pendleton California where he was an aircraft mechanic.

He joined Raeana Goebel in marriage in 2001; two weeks after their marriage, Adam was injured in a dirt bike accident in the desert of California and suffered a severed spinal cord, leaving him paralyzed from the chest down.

Adam had many hobbies and became a master of many things. He was very involved in martial arts and participated, (and won) many taekwondo tournaments around the state during his teen years.

He realized his passion for the guitar as a young teenager and became a very skilled, talented musician with no bounds. He played all different types of music and also learned to hand craft custom guitars.

He loved to read, study, and seek wisdom of any kind.  He researched health and wellness and often shared advice and knowledge with his loved ones. He wanted everyone to know what he knew and to be their best, healthiest selves.  He was very knowledgeable about the Bible as well. He loved Jesus and was saved and baptized. He studied the Lord fervently, reading many different versions of the Bible, studying commentaries, and making notes to share with others.

He is survived by his dad, Mike Thomure and his wife Kathy of Summersville, his mom, Jean Thomure (Jarrett) of Springfield. His siblings, Amber Wilson and husband Eric Wilson of Cabool, Kristy Gerry and husband Preston Gerry of Nixa, Mindy Davis and husband Jeff Davis of Hartsburg, his nieces, Bailey, Addi, Kylee, Everlee, Zoey and Harper; his nephews, "little" Adam, Oliver, and Jac.

Adam had a wealth of wisdom with many talents. His compassion for others had no limits. He was a comforter and teacher. Adam will be missed greatly, but is now walking, with God who saved him from this world.
