Barbara Lee Schoen, 72 of Cabool, MO completed her walk through life and began a new everlasting journey on Tuesday, May 25, 2010. She was born on Oct. 1, 1937 at Cape Girardeau, MO the daughter of Joseph H. and Ruby M. (Gosnell) Allison.

Barbara spent most of her life in the Cabool area where she worked and served her community. She loved to bowl and spend time with her family and friends. She was a faithful member of Cabool First Baptist Church.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Danny Schoen. She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Durbin and husband, Earl of Neosho, MO; a son, Bill Schoen and wife, Tammy of Brighton, MO and three grandsons, Ben Schoen, Tyler Schoen and Jonathan Durbin; as well as numerous friends. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Services were at 1pm, Friday, May 28, 2010 at the Cabool First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dick Wakefield officiating. Interment was in the Cabool Cemetery under the direction of Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home of Cabool, MO.
