Barbara Jane Sigman, 72 of Cabool, MO departed this life on May 13, 2015 at the Kabul Nursing Home.  She was born on May 31, 1942 on the family farm near West Plains, MO the daughter of the late Lee and Veta (Harris) Morgan.

Barbara accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age; anyone who knew her was aware of the love she had for the Lord.  Her devotion to the Lord was apparent until her last breathe.

Barbara attended West Plains Schools and graduated with the class of 1960.  On March 5, 1960 she was united in marriage to Ronald George Sigman and to this union four children were born; Jerry, Barry, Randy and Pam.

Barbara was a beautician for 35 years and had her beauty shop in her home on Rogers Street for many years.  She met many wonderful people and made several lifelong friends through this experience.  She attended Cabool area churches and was a member of Steely Chapel Church where she worshipped with her husband, Ronnie for many years.  They later attended Cabool Assembly of God as long as her health permitted.  She loved going to church and helping with dinners.  She enjoyed cooking and was always taking food to friends and neighbors who were sick or had lost a loved one.  She enjoyed the time she had with her friends and family; especially spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, who were the joy of her life.  Barbara was always giving and always made sure that when you left her house you were not hungry.  It never mattered what time of day you visited her, she would always try to feed you.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Veta Morgan and one granddaughter, Gail Lynn Sigman. She is survived by her husband, Ronnie of the home; three sons, Jerry Sigman, Barry Sigman and wife, Susan and Randy Sigman all of Cabool, MO; one daughter, Pam Vernon of Rolla, MO; ten grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren; one sister, Donna Luna and husband, Ronnie and two nieces all of West Plains, MO; and her stepmother, Florene Morgan of Cabool, MO. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
