IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Becky Ann
Robertson
November 8, 1948 – November 4, 2012
Becky Ann Robertson of Mountain Grove, Missouri, was called home by her Lord and Savior on November 4, 2012.
Becky was born on November 8, 1948 in Norwood, Missouri, to Bertha and Glen "Duke" Schrouder. She graduated from Norwood High School in 1965. She was united in marriage to Don W. Robertson and shared 40 years together before his passing in 2006. Together they shared a passion for children and fostered many children providing a stable, Christian environment while they were in their home. Many of those same children who called her "Mamma Becky" now have their kids call her "Grandma Becky".
Becky owned and operated The Unique Beauty Salon for over 30 years and considered her work a ministry to share her faith in God to all of those who entered her shop. Becky enjoyed feeding her birds, being outside working in the yard and was the world's greatest cook, according to friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents as well as three sisters: Eunice Strunk, Ruth Prock and Emma Frost.
Survivors include her sister, Jean Sexton and husband, Jimmy of Lake Cormorant, MS; son, John Collins and his wife, Edie of Springfield, Missouri; her son, Scott Robertson of Kansas City, KS; and two granddaughters Jacey and Courtney Collins. She also is survived by many nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Gideons International. The family would like to thank the Schillings for being more than just neighbors by looking out for her the past several years.
