Billie Charlene Cook, 81 of Cabool, MO gained her heavenly wings on April 1, 2024.  She was born on August 24, 1942 in Elk Creek, MO to Arthur and Evelyn Maness.  Billie was the third of four children.  She attended Elk Creek grade school and then Cabool High School.

Billie met Ardell Franklin Cook and they were united in marriage on July 8, 1960.  To this union three children were born, Debra, Bobby and Kristin.  Billie worked for Brauer Brothers (Brown Shoe Company) for many years until it closed, at that time she went to work at the Kabul Nursing Home until she retired.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ardell; her son, Bobby; her brother, Donald Maness and brother-in-law, Glenn James.  She is survived by her daughters, Deb and Kirstin; grandson, Stetson Taylor and Keisha; great grandchildren, Weston, Rylee and Dayne; brother, Danny Maness; sister, Virginia James; a special cousin, Betty Cooper; as well as a host of family and friends.  She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
