Billy Gene Estep departed this life on December 1, 2014 at the Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston, MO at the age of 84 years, 1 month and 13 days. He was born Oct. 18, 1930 in Mtn. Grove, MO the sixth of nine children of William Towney and Rosa Lee (Scroggins) Estep.

Bill served in the United States Army for two years and saw action in the Korean Conflict. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Patsy Mae Parks, on February 4, 1952 and to this union four children were born; Albert, Claudia, Tony and Edward.

Bill always enjoyed working outside; he was a cement finisher, carpenter and farmer. All those who knew him, knew the importance Bill placed on family and togetherness. That is his greatest legacy.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Lottie Mae Miller and Inez Laws and three brothers, Edward James (E.J.), Chester and Charles Estep. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Estep of Mtn. Grove, MO; their four children, Albert Estep of New Castle, WY, Claudia Cooley of Mtn. Home, AR, Tony Estep of Cabool, MO and Edward Estep of Elgin, OK; one sister, Erma Butts of Cabool, MO; two brothers, William Estep of Tooele, UT and Andrew (Bud) Estep of Joplin, MO; fifteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
