Obituary:

Carole Joleen Caffey, 73 of Springfield MO passed away on December 13, 2017 and is now in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was born on June 15, 1944 in Cabool, MO the daughter of the late Johnny and Mildred (Ellis) Oxley.

Carole was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Deah Chisholm. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ron Caffey of Springfield, MO.  Her surviving children are Cristi and husband, Robert Burk of McAllen Texas and Holli and husband, Frank East of Ozark, MO; four grandchildren, Shae Carroll, Wyatt Burk, Preslee and Mason East and two great grandchildren, Raelynn Ross and Jaxon Kelley; as well as numerous extended family members.

Carole loved gospel music and singing with her sisters and she blessed her family with her artwork and crafts. She was beautiful inside and out and spent most of her life caring for others. We will remember Carole for her quiet, sweet and loving spirit.
