Carolyn I. Smith, 63 of Willow Springs, MO passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014 at the Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, MO. She was born on August 27, 1950 at Tyrone, MO the daughter of Cloyd and Edith (Harrison) Ice.

Carolyn attended Cabool Schools and graduated with the class of 1968. On June 3, 1972 she was united in marriage at the Y Church to Charles Smith. She worked at several of the area shoe factories over the years and helped work the family dairy farm.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Charles Smith of the home; two children, Reggie Smith and wife, Jennifer of Willow Springs, MO and Adam Smith and Alaina of Cabool, MO; five grandchildren, Jordan, Cade, Kylie, Lathan and Tatum; two brothers, Carl Ice and wife, Judy of Cabool, MO and Bob Ice and wife, Lola of Brighton, CO; one sister, Verma Ridenour and husband, Claude of West Virginia; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a special friend, Margie Baker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cloyd and Edith Ice.
