Carolyn Sue (West) Watson, 70 of Cabool, MO was born on February 18, 1946 the daughter of Roy Van and Violet Claudine (Fulk) West.  She departed this life on November 1, 2016 after a short battle with cancer and joined her Lord and Savior, family and friends.

Carolyn gave her heart to Christ at an early age and was a member of the Elk Creek Baptist Church for many years.  On February 14, 1976 she was united in marriage to James Edward Watson and they were blessed with a son, Shaun Edward Watson.  She was a very devoted, loving mother and always put Shaun's needs first.

She was employed at Producers Creamery (Mid America Dairymen and Dairy Farmers of America) for 8 years, then at Rawlings Sporting Goods for 5 years before returning to DFA to complete 46 years plus of service and many hours making sure the milk department ran smoothly.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Shaun Edward and wife, Kimberly Sue (Williams) Watson; 3 grandchildren, Meagan Nicole, Makalah Sue and Westlee Edward; special cousins, Glen and Jenny McKinney; special neighbors, Danny and Debbie Cannon; special friends, Glen and Susie Williams, Gordon Thompson and Pat Bethurem who she thought of as a sister.  Her family was her pride and joy.
