Obituary:

Charles Wade "Chuck" Carnal, son of William Pascal and Dorotha Jacqueline (Anderson) Carnal, was born on August 7, 1940 in Ripley, Mississippi. He passed away at home in Cabool, MO on April 9, 2020 at the age of 79.

Charles grew up living in the areas of Ripley, Mississippi; Memphis, Tennessee; and Hoxie, Trumann, and Marked Tree, Arkansas prior to enlisting in the United States Air Force in 1957. After the Air Force, Charles moved to Cabool, MO and lived for a time with his grandparents Donald and Agnes Anderson.

Charles was united in marriage to Linda Marie Glenn on September 28, 1963. They briefly lived in Ripley, MS, but returned to the Cabool, MO area where they remained and raised their family.

Charles enjoyed many hobbies, but some of his favorite activities were hunting, fishing, camping, and stock car racing. He was very outgoing and loved to talk with anyone he met – he truly "never met a stranger" that he couldn't spend time talking or visiting with. His real joy in life, though, was spending time with his family and his grandchildren.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, David Ray Carnal and Sammy Burrow and sisters Jane Carnal and Susan Reed.

Charles is survived by his wife Linda; his children, Lesley Daren Carnal and wife, Edwina of Mansfield, MO, Conrad Brian Carnal and wife, Debra of St. James, MO, Amanda Greetham and husband, Gregory of Mountain Home, AR and Anthony Carnal and wife, Lauren of Mountain Grove, MO; 7 grandchildren, Curtis, Casey, Meredith, Jessica, Jasmine, Liam and Eli; his siblings, Jim Carnal and wife, Monika of Florida, Christine Spain and husband, Sid of Alabama, Kenneth Carnal (Anderson) of Mississippi; and many extended family and friends that will dearly miss him.

The family has decided that due to Covid restrictions and having family out of state and abroad currently, we will have a private memorial for him at a later date when travel and gathering restrictions are lifted
