Charles Earl Peterson, son of Earl and Maxine Peterson was born January 27, 1954 in Mountain Grove, Mo and passed away September 7, 2010 at his home in Isabella, Mo.

Charley grew up in Mountain Grove and graduated from Mountain Grove High School in 1972. He later married and had two daughters. He moved to Kansas where he worked for Cox Roofing Co. for several years. He later moved back to Mountain Grove and became a barber. He operated a barber shop in Mansfield and worked at Walker barber Shop in Mountain Grove and later moved to Isabella, Mo. Charley loved the outdoors. He loved to hunt and fish. His favorite pastime was hunting arrowheads.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and parents, Earl and Maxine Peterson. He is survived by his two daughters, Kayla Vandiver and husband Jason of Mountain Grove, Cassie Peterson of Springfield, Mo.; three grandchildren, Breanna, Brett and Bracelynn; two sisters, Carol Inman and husband John of Shawnee, Ks, Donna Blackwell and husband Tom of Mountain Grove; one nephew Matt Blackwell, Springfield, Mo and a special cousin, Michelle Collins and husband Terry of Theodosia, Mo. and a host of other relatives and friends.
