Obituary:

Charles Ray Smith, 70 of Cabool, MO passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at his home.  He was born on December 16, 1946 near Eunice, MO the son of the late James A. and Lena (Garrison) Smith.

Charles was born and raised in Eunice until the family moved to Cabool.  He acquired his nickname "Smokie" while attending Cabool High School, graduating with the Class of 1965.

Charles met his wife, Judy in 1965 and they were united in marriage in June of 1966; two daughters were born to this union, Kimberly and Keli.  He loved to go bowling, fishing and spending time with his family.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters; four brothers and one grandson.  He is survived by his wife, Judy of the home; his daughters, Kimberly Smith of Cabool, MO and Keli Neal of West Plains, MO; his grandson, Cody Neal; brother, Herbert Smith; several nieces and nephews; as well as many friends who will greatly miss him.
