Christina Sue (Smith) Claxton, 35 of Mtn. Grove, MO departed this life on Monday, August 1, 2011 at her residence. She was born on Dec. 9, 1975 in Houston, MO the daughter of Roy Don and Virginia Louise (Moore) Smith.

Tina attended school in Mtn. Grove and was a member of the Church of the Nazarene growing up. After graduating in 1994, she went to work for Arlee Home Fashions in Mtn. Grove as a foam stuffer. She was able to achieve success while there and eventually became the Human Resource Manager at the West Plains, MO location.

Tina was a fun loving person; spending time with her family was a must. Becoming a mother was her proudest achievement; Dylan was the light of her life. She spent countless hours volunteering in his classroom as well as coaching and supporting him at his sporting events. She was known by many as Aunt Tina.

Tina is survived by her son, Dylan Claxton of Mtn. Grove, MO; her parents, Roy and Louise Smith of Mtn. Grove, MO; one sister, Melissa Mabe and husband, Buddy of Mtn. Grove, MO; one brother, Keith Smith and wife, Christina of Mtn. Grove, MO; two nephews, Logan and Trey Dixson; one niece, Jordyn Dixson all of Mtn. Grove, MO; several aunts, uncles and numerous other relatives and friends. She will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.
