Obituary:

Dallas Ray Hunter, son of Oscar and Leona (Martin) Hunter, was born July 27, 1950. He went home to be with the Lord December 19, 2014 at the age of 64 years, 5 months at his home in Willow Springs, MO, after a long illness.

He lived most of his life in the Cabool and Willow Springs, Missouri, area where he was an over the road truck driver amongst other things including logging and hardwood flooring. Dallas enjoyed spending time with his family especially his children and grandchildren.

Dallas married Beverly Bloomer August 9, 1968 and to this union there was one daughter; Lisa. He later married Ginger Strong on July 28, 1986 and to this union there were three children, one son; Brandon and two daughters; Keshia, and Rachelle.

He gave his life to the Lord several years ago and was a member of Almost Home Family Worship in Mtn. Grove, MO , where he loved to attend when his health permitted.

Dallas was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Wayne Hunter and Cecil Hunter, and a step daughter Casey Jo Strong.   He is survived by his wife Ginger Hunter of Willow Springs, MO; four children, Lisa (Hunter) Smith and husband Kevan, Brandon Hunter, Keshia (Hunter) Smith and husband Josiah all of Cabool, MO, Rachelle (Hunter) Andrus and husband Sam of Louisiana; grandchildren, Lindsey, Megan, Corbin and Dylan Smith, Elizabeth Koontz, Justin Hunter, Devon and Braydon Polm, Addison Smith, and Maleki and Daxton Andrus, one brother, Delbert Hunter and wife Cheryl of Cabool, MO; and one sister, Dorotha Means of Mtn. Grove, MO, and many other relatives and friends. Dallas will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
