Obituary:
Danace Vay (Steely) Phillips, 76, of Cabool, MO passed away Saturday, March 31, 2012 at her home. She was born August 18, 1935 in Cowell, Arkansas the daughter of James A. and Lilly (Lambdin) Smith.
She was married to Raymond L. Steely and to this union two sons were born; Raymond L. Steely and Bradley L. Steely. Danace was a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
She enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with her family.
Danace was preceded in death by her parents, uncle and aunt Lee and Laura Lambdin that raised her, her husband Raymond Steely, her sister Joyce Ellis and brother James Smith and great-granddaughter Reilly Rouse. She is survived by her sons Raymond Steely (Albany, GA) and Brad Steely and wife Teresa (Cabool, MO); her sisters Anna Mae Sain (Cabool, MO) and Carol Lynch (Newark, CA) as well as many other grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends.
