Dannie (Dan) Wayne Fellers Sr. of Mountain Grove, MO passed away at his home December 28th, 2022. Dan was born in Kansas City, Mo to Frank Fellers and Lois (Hill) Belt on June 25th, 1953.
After school, Dan joined the United States Army in 1974 serving his country for 14 years. In 2009 Dan would enlist in the Missouri Army National Guard serving 2 more years to bring his years of service to 16 years.
In 1988, after his first honorable discharge with the United States Army Dan began working as a welder fabricator in Springfield, MO.
In the mid 1990's, Dan moved to Mtn. Grove, MO where he began his career as a semi truck mechanic and would later begin driving semi's over the road. Dan talked fondly of his trips all over the United States driving truck and could always be found in conversation of semi's or of all the places he had seen.
On April 16th 2005, Dan was joined in marriage to Anne (Duey) Fellers. Both bringing 3 kids of their own to this union. Anne and Dan would spend the next 17 years loving each other. You could always find a good laugh listening to Dan "poke fun" at Anne as they went about life together. Dan loved Anne unconditionally and wherever he was found so was she.
In 2020 Dan retired from working and could be found playing his computer games, watching "funny" YouTube videos, or just enjoying his new lifestyle of relaxation.
Dan was preceded in death by both his parents, Frank Fellers and Lois Belt; mother and father in law, Eldon and Lena Duey; one sister, Sylvia Alexander; two brothers, Mike Fellers and Matthew Fellers and one brother in-law, Terry Alexander. He is survived by his wife, Anne Fellers of the home; one daughter, Elizabeth (Fellers) Graham(Nathan); five sons, Dannie Fellers Jr., Frank Fellers, Tom Hicks(Tari), Josh Hicks(Kammi) and Cody Hicks(Miakayla); special bonus daughter, Rachel Hicks; 21 grandkids and 1 great granddaughter; Luther and Trenton Moore were two very special men to Dan; as well as many neices, nephews, friends and family that will fondly remember Dan.
