Obituary:

Danny Lee Nungesser, 57 of Mtn. Grove, MO passed away on Monday, May 20, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO.  He was born on July 18, 1961 in Wichita, KS the son of Don and Emma (Jarrett) Nungesser.

Danny grew up in Mtn. Grove and attended Mtn. Grove High School.  He was united in marriage to Carolyn Sue "Susie" Turner on May 10, 1984.  They enjoyed many good years together before her passing on April 29, 2018.

Danny worked as a professional carpet and tile layer for several years until his health failed.  He also ran the Panther boys ball field for seven years where he became a father figure to many young people.  He will be remembered for his passion for riding motorcycles, attending bike rallies and serving as President of the ABATE Bike Club.  In his later years he enjoyed aggravating and working with his father-in-law on rental properties.  He always enjoyed spending time with his loving mother, children, grandchildren and many friends.

Danny was preceded by his wife, Susie; his father, Don Nungesser; a brother, Lonnie; brother-in-law, Jim; a granddaughter, Trinity and many friends.  He is survived by his children, Robin Mitchell and husband, Bobby of Lafayette, IN, Billy Nungesser and wife, Felicia of Norwood, MO, Misty Martin and ex-husband, Tommy, David Nungesser and Jordy, Danny Joe Nungesser and Stacy all of Mtn. Grove; his mother, Emma Nungesser of Mtn. Grove; his in-laws, Ronald and Wilma Turner of Mtn. Grove; a brother, Donny and wife, Lena of Kansas; three sisters, Mary and husband, Bob of Kansas, Linda and husband, Jeff of Missouri and Brenda and husband, Doug of Missouri; 16 grandkids; 1 great granddaughter; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends that will greatly miss him and his humor.
