Obituary:

David Clifford Brust, 93 of Cabool, MO passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at his home. He was born on June 28, 1921 in Troy, NY the son of Waldo and Alta (Bornt) Brust.

David was united in marriage to Hilda Freemantle on April 8, 1944 and to this union 10 children were born. He served his country during WWII in the US Marines. He then worked for several years for the New York Department of Transportation before moving to Cabool in 1986. He enjoyed the outdoors, helping others and working on lawn mowers.

David was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Hilda on March 31, 2014; a son, David D. Brust and seven siblings. He is survived by nine children, Carol Denue, Nancy Mason, Susan Navarra, Sharon Smith, Betty Hall, Warren Brust, Laurie Marriner, Paul Brust and Ellen Smith; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and step grandchildren; one brother and two sisters; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
