Obituary:

Dr. David Leslie Vickerman, 83, of Cabool, Missouri passed away peacefully on March 14, 2021, with his loving wife, Kathryn by his side. Dr. Vickerman was born on December 24, 1937 to Frank and June Vickerman in Flint, Michigan.

He grew up in Michigan and graduated in 1957 from Clio High School. He later attended and graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City in 1961. He persued his career as a chiropractic physician and worked concurrently for Missouri Department of Natural Resources where he retired after 20 years in order to focus full time on his profession as a chiropractic physician.

He moved to VanZant, Missouri in 1997 & opened Cabool Wellness Center where he practiced until shortly before his passing.

Dr. Vickerman was a loving, humble and generous man with deep spiritual beliefs and loved helping his community - often times waiving fees for patients and strangers alike in financial need. Always giving credit to his Creator, he would often say,"Praise Yah!" after rendering treatment to a patient..

Dr. Vickerman was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; a daughter, Lesley Ann and his late wife, Carol Vickerman. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Vickerman; his daughters, Thanna Vickerman and Danel Vickerman; sons-in-law, Joel Stoffer and Matt Clements; grandsons, Hugo Stoffer and Dashyl Clements of California; cousins, Ruth Hertzberg, Orah May, George Vickerman and Karen Wagner.

Dr. Vickerman will be dearly missed by all those who truly knew and loved him. "Praise Yah!", Dr. Vickerman - small in stature yet a giant among men. You are loved and truly missed by many.
