Dee Anna Hunter, 77 of Willow Springs, MO departed this life on March 18, 2018 at the Brooke Haven Healthcare in West Plains, MO. She was born on May 12, 1940 in Houma, LA the daughter of Homer Stuart and Lucille and Stanley "Thumb" Horak.

Dee worked a variety of jobs through the years; Brown Shoe factory, hairdresser and after completing school she became a LPN. She enjoyed planting flowers and making a garden; anything to be outside. She also loved to participate in the Senior Olympics.

Dee was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Homer Stuart; a son, Stanley; a granddaughter, Kristi; a grandson, Robbie and one great grandson, David. She is survived by two sons, Rodger Hunter and wife, Brenda and Rex Hunter and wife, Crystal; 7 grandchildren, Brad Hunter and wife, Heather, John Shaffer and wife, Tena, Jason Shaffer and wife, Dawn, Kelsi Hunter, Racheal Hunter and her significant other, Morgan, Lowgun Creech, Destiny Creech all of Willow Springs, MO; 15 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
