Obituary:

Delilah Mae Languerand, 85 of Cabool, MO departed this life on February 6, 2021 at the Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO.  She was born on December 31, 1935 in Waterbury, VT the daughter of Stanley and Mae (Clark) Morse.

DeeDee grew up in Vermont with her family, until she met the love of her life, Pete Languerand.  They were united in marriage on April 25, 1953 and to this union six children were born.

Later in life, they moved to Missouri, where she worked for the Kabul Nursing Home until they started milking cows.  When they finally retired, they moved to Mansfield, MO where they were able to travel and see many relatives; she always looked forward to every trip.

DeeDee enjoyed planting a garden every year and canning and her flower gardens; but most of all she enjoyed and loved spending time with her family.

DeeDee was preceded in death by her parents; her father and mother-in-law; one son, John and two grandsons, Marcel and AJ.  She is survived by her loving husband, Pete; three sons, Marcel, Alfred and wife, Patty and Stephen and Trish; two daughters, Marie and Curtis and Debra and Harold; 15 grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren and many great grandchildren.  She will be sadly missed by many people, but is in a better place now.  No more pain, just happiness; she is resting high on that mountain looking down on her family.
