IN LOVING MEMORY OF

Alexander

Cabool Cemetery
Delores Dean (Ellis) Alexander entered her eternal home peacefully on December 3rd at Willow Care Nursing Home. She was 91 years and 5 days old. Delores was born on November 28, 1929 to Opal Faye (Whitson) Ellis and Virgil Roy Ellis in Cabool, MO. She was a sibling of 8 others. She helped take care of the siblings growing up and she attended and graduated from Cabool School.
Delores met her soul mate Delbert and they were united in marriage on March 10, 1950. They were married for 46 years before his passing. They were blessed with 2 great kids, Danny and Julie. They lived outside of Cabool on the farm for a while before moving to town. When they moved to town, Delores went to work at Murr Drug as a pharmacy technician before retiring after 40 years. They attended the First Baptist Church where Delbert was a deacon and she was active in the church. She was a faithful follower of Jesus up to her last breath. Everywhere she went, she asked if people knew the Lord. Upon retiring, she helped take care of the home, Dan and her grand-babies. Oh, how she loved her Danielle and Marlie.
Not only did she love her grand-babies, but coffee with name brand creamer, coffee cups and owls. She also loved her family fiercely. You could always find her at all of the girls events, supporting them and encouraging them to follow their dreams. She was a very independent woman, and lived at her home in Cabool until her health warranted otherwise. She will always be remembered for her boldness, her honesty, and her deep love for her family and her savior, Jesus Christ.
