Obituary:

Diana Lynn (Everett) Smallwood, 65 of Cabool, MO passed away December 28, 2018 in Springfield, Missouri.  Diana was born in Cabool, MO the daughter of Willis Thomas and Dorothy (Skaggs) Everett on March 14, 1953.

She went to high school at Cabool High School and graduated in 1971.  She went on to earn a degree in Psychology, Sociology and Criminal Justice from Drury University. Diana married James Smallwood on June 5, 1971.  They were married for 47 years before her passing.  She was a member of Mount Pisgah Free Will Baptist Church of Cabool.  She enjoyed reading, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Diana was preceded in death by her father, Willis Thomas Everett Sr.; mother, Dorothy Everett and her brother, Willis Thomas (Bill) Everett Jr.  She is survived by her husband, James Smallwood; two sons, Stephen Smallwood and his wife, Yolonda of Farmington, NM and Zachary Smallwood of Cheyenne, Wyoming; one daughter, Tara McCloud and her husband, Brian of Tulsa, OK; one sister, Sue Trehal and her husband, Martin of Springfield, MO; one sister-in-law, Linda Everett of Cabool, MO; 3 grandchildren and one great grandchild; as well as many nieces and nephews.
