Obituary:

Diane Barbara Bacon, 83 passed peacefully on April 28, 2021 at the Kabul Nursing Home. She was born on September 20, 1937 in San Diego, CA the daughter of John and Genevieve (Gatzmeyer) Lattman.

Diane enjoyed a long career with the County of San Diego before pursuing her dream of a simple life in the country in Cabool, Missouri.  She and her since deceased second husband of 42 years, Richard Bacon owned a small farm in Cabool since 1996 and did indeed enjoy that country life until her passing.

Diane adopted three children with her first husband, Robert Cote.  Her children; Claudette, Mark and Leslie were adopted from birth.  Diane was a sweet and kind mother who gave generously of herself to her children and the people she knew.

Diane was active with her lifestyle, her family and her church.  She loved to read, tend to her farm animals and was committed to being a fantastic Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.

Diane is survived by her children, Claudette Noorlun (Steve), Mark Cote and Leslie Bacon (John); four granddaughters, Hailey, Erin, Lindsey and Ashley and three great grandsons. Diane will be missed by all that knew and loved her very much.
