Donald Arch Reece, Sr. 74 of Vanzant, MO met his savior face to face when he moved to heaven on November 6, 2021 after a battle with cancer. He was born on November 10, 1946 in Vanzant, MO the son of William Noble and Nancy Loretta (Mullins) Reece. Donald was raised in the Vanzant area and graduated from Cabool High School with the class of 1965.

Donald joined the Marines after graduation and bravely served his country; receiving 15 ribbons and medals of honor during his military career of 20 plus years. Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and was active in the Boy Scout Troops 270 and 50 for many years.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; two nephews and a niece. He is survived by a sister, Bertha Tilley of Cabool, MO; his sons, Donald Reece, Jr and wife, Kelly of Georgia and Derek Reece stationed at Fort Riley, KS; his daughters, Deanna Hindmon and husband, Tracy of Georgia and Jessica Robertson and husband, Clinton of Norwood, MO; eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Donald was a loving father and a good friend to all those who knew him. He will be greatly missed; until we meet again my daddy, my friend- We love you.
