IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Donald Mack
Scowden
January 1, 1950 – July 30, 2016
Donald M. Scowden, age 66, went to be with His Lord and Savior on July 30 th 2016, in Springfield Missouri. Don was born in Bloomfield, Missouri on New Year's Day.
Don retired from a 52 year career as a HVAC Technician last year. He loved his job and his clients, many of whom he helped after he retired and moved from St. Louis. Don enjoyed his corvettes in his youth and then matured to trucks. He also loved his boat, playing baseball, softball, bowling, hunting, fishing, and visiting with his grandchildren. He was "Mr. Fix-It" to all friends, family, and neighbors. He was always aware of other's needs and wanted to generously meet that need without any recognition. Don never met an enemy, and was a friend to all.
Don is survived by his wife Edna (Luallen) of 38 years, daughters Jamie (Ryan) Vanderwarker and Ashley (Nathan) DiFilippantonio and son Curtis Scowden, mother Bettie Jo (Aslin) Seward, mother-in-law Oma (Freeman) Luallen, sisters Jo Ann Barnard and Sharon Kelley, brother Marion John (Fran) Seward, grandchildren: Evan, Landon, Lilianna, Karis, Lucus, Lincoln, and Alivia, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Noah Scowden, loving step-father Marion Seward, father-in-law Loren Luallen, brother Curtis Scowden, and grandparents Elmer and Dorotha Aslin.
Adoring Husband. Loving Father. Proud PaPa.
