Donald Ray Smith, 88 passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at the Autumn Oaks Care Center in Mtn. Grove, MO.  He was born on Sept. 1, 1936 in Joplin, MO the only child of Raymond and Mary (St. Clair) Smith.

Donald attended and graduated from Joplin High School and then attended Arkansas University where he played baseball and received a business degree.  After college he became the owner of Smith Color and Supply Paint Store, a family owned business.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty (Pierson) Smith and a son, John Smith.  He is survived by his daughters, Piper, Jill and Nikki; his son, William; grandkids, Dylan, Amon, Jessie, Jamie, Sally, Katie and Austin; as well as many great grandkids.  Proverbs 17:6
