Doril F. Leascher, 89 of Mtn. Grove, MO passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at the Autumn Oaks Care Center in Mtn. Grove. He was born on Oct. 5, 1923 in Abilene, KS the son of Burnett E. and Gladys S. (Freeman) Leascher.

Doril graduated from Mtn. Grove High School in 1941 and attended college in Springfield before joining the US Coast Guard. He was in the service from 1943 to 1946. After his discharge he attended SMS in college and graduated with a BS in Education.

Doril was united in marriage to Elaine Zimmerman of Cabool, MO and to this union two children were born; son, Jan and daughter, Dorlaine. The family lived in Nebraska for several years where he worked as a territorial manager for Geigy Pharmaceuticals.

Doril and Elaine moved back to the Mtn. Grove area where they enjoyed living on their acreage overlooking their lake and the birds and other wildlife. He was always on the go and far from being retired. His primary business was as a broker for Leascher Real Estate. The family was involved in the community by operating a number of businesses- JC Penney Catalog Store and Flowers of the Square being the most current.

Doril was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Elaine. He is survived by his daughter, Dorlaine Dunbar and husband, Jerry of Taylor, NE; his son, Jan Leascher of Mtn. Grove, MO; three grandsons, Shane Dunbar and wife, Stacey of Taylor, NE, Chad Dunbar and wife, Elizabeth of Norwood, MO and Travis Dunbar and wife, Eileen of Burwell, NE; great grandchildren, Kayla, Shayna, Kindra and Haley Dunbar, daughters of Shane and Stacey Dunbar; great grandson, Stetson Dunbar, son of Chad Dunbar; great grandson, Brogan Dunbar, so of Travis and Eileen Dunbar; and great great granddaughter, Addison Dunbar, daughter of Kayla Dunbar. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
