Obituary:

Dorothy Marie Hamilton of Cabool, MO, daughter of Edwin and Myrtle (Brann) Guinn, was born on April 7, 1932 in Ottawa, Kansas and departed this life at the Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston, MO on November 14, 2012 at the age of 80 years, 7 months and 7 days.

She was united in marriage to Jerry Hamilton on September 13, 1953 and to this union four children were born. Since her retirement from Brown Shoe, she enjoyed fishing and camping with friends and family and playing cards at the Cabool Senior Center.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Donald; one sister, Margaret and a nephew, Ronnie. She is survived by her husband, Jerry of the home; three sons, Martin and wife, Debbie of Plato, MO, Gerald of Cabool, MO and Jeff and wife, Melanie of Pennsylvania; one daughter, Susan of Cabool, MO; one niece, Pat Rose of Phoenix, AZ; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; as well as many other family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
