Obituary:

Elizabeth Susan "Betty Sue" Collins, 85 of Cabool, MO passed away on March 25, 2020 at the Kabul Nursing Home. Betty Sue was born on June 28, 1934 in Mtn. Grove, MO the daughter of George and Thelma Dean (Hamilton) Dobbs.

Betty Sue worked hard her entire life. She was always quick to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She was a switchboard operator for the Cabool area until the Cabool office went dial. She always said that she could go back and work that switchboard. She also worked at the Mid Am Dairy for several years, retiring in 1999. She lived on a farm south of Cabool for over 50 years where she hunted, fished, gardened and sewed; as well as a wonderful cook. She helped care for her step father, James William Frisbee until his death in 2000 and cared for her mother, Thelma until her death in 2002.

Betty Sue was married to Bobby Darrell Jones on June 4, 1952. She leaves behind two daughters, Patricia Christensen (Steve) Holts Summit and Cindy Chuidian (Alfie) Newark, DE. Her grandchildren, Ryan Christensen (Pam) Goodyear, AZ, Eric Christensen (Darla) Warrensburg, MO, Sasha Langlay-Smith (Johnny) and Anton Chuidian (Alonya) Vermont and 3 Great Grandchildren.

She was married to her second husband, Carl Keith Collins in 1994, he survives of the home. She lovingly welcomed his daughters, Teresa Campbell (Dean) Houston, MO and Angie Payton (Jerry) Pattison, TX, 7 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.

She leaves to mourn her husband, Carl of Mtn. Grove; one brother, David (Buck) Dobbs of Paonia, CO and three sisters, Linda Bowling (David), Donna Haddock (Charlie), and Wanda Reed all of Cabool; as well as numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. Her Smile, Laugh and Wisdom will be greatly missed.
