Obituary :

Eloise Mildred Casebeer, 98 of Mountain Grove, passed away on Wednesday January 4, 2012.  Eloise was born on April 25, 1913 in Dykes, Missouri, near Upton, the daughter of Charles Monroe Campbell and Iva (Stottlemyre) Campbell.

Eloise grew up in the Upton area and graduated from high school in Houston, Missouri and then attended teacher's college in Springfield and taught school for several years in one room school houses before her marriage.

Eloise was united in marriage to Calvin Edgar (Casey) Casebeer on January 7, 1939 in Baxter County, Arkansas and lived on their farm near Mountain Grove, MO for the next 73 years until her passing.

Eloise most enjoyed spending time outside on her farm and also playing cards, dominos, and scrabble with her family and many friends and neighbors.  She wrote poetry from an early age and continued throughout her life and documented her love for her farm in a most memorable poem called "Wonder Valley Farm".

Eloise was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Casey, her brother Doris Campbell and her sister Iretta McMurtrey.  She is survived by her brother Delmer Campbell and many loving nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, many friends, neighbors, and scrabble/card/domino playing buddies.

She will be missed by all who knew her.
