Esther Faye Davis, 89 of Mountain Home, AR and formerly of Cabool, MO passed away on February 8, 2022 at the Hospice House of Mountain Home. She was born on April 30, 1932 in Brockwell, AR to the family of Jeffrey and Cora Jones. Esther married James Davis on December 6, 1947.

Esther Faye Davis was a beloved woman with a serving heart. She spent most of her time helping others at the Christ Closet of Cabool and the Kabul Nursing Home. She was a member of Cabool First Baptist Church and assisted in programs through the church such as fellowship dinners and vacation bible school. Esther was a kind-hearted soul and enjoyed spending time with family.

Esther was preceded in death by her husband, James Davis; daughter, Glenda Davis; sisters, Elsie McKay and Erma Dalton and brothers, James Jones and Raborn Jones. She is survived her daughter, Wanda Brown of Mountain Home, AR; her sons, Danny Davis of West Plains, MO and Donald Davis of Villa Park, IL; grandsons, Erbie Gentry and Charles G. Brown; granddaughters, Debra Brown and Lisa Gentry; great grandsons, Logan Gravitt and Charles A. Brown; great granddaughters, Emerald Gentry, Amber Gentry, Amanda Brown, Danielle Brown, Brealyn Sullivan and Kaylee Brown and six great-great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
