Obituary:

Etta Marie Crownover, 82 of Cabool, MO departed this life to be with the Lord in Heaven at the home of her daughter, Catherine and George Marcum on February 26, 2021. She was born on January 25, 1939 in Peoria, IL the daughter of Lewis and Jenny (Chambers) Crownover.

Etta was married to Lucian Wilkerson until their divorce and she was then married to James Payne, Sr. She spent most of her life raising her children and traveling.

Etta was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Luciana Cockrum; grandsons, Ronald and Ricky Russell; sisters, Mary Kujawski, Helen Johnston and Jean Benton and brothers, Bob Heath, Harry Heath, Albert Heath and Lewis Crownover. She is survived by her daughters, Francis Whitaker of Garden City, MO and Catherine Marcum and husband, George of Cabool, MO; son, James Payne of Mtn. Home, AR; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Peggy Dobson and husband, Orville of Indiana and Sue Hilburn and husband, Jerry of Arkansas; brother, William Heath of Mtn. Grove, MO and many nieces and nephews.

She is now traveling the roads of heaven with her Savior Jesus Christ. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
