Obituary:

Eulah Mae Stovall of Mtn. Grove, MO, daughter of the late John W. and Goldie Pearl (Davis) Collins was born on March 19, 1929 in Howell County, Missouri, one of the six children born into the Collins Family.  She departed this life after a lingering illness on Oct. 12, 2017 at the Kabul Nursing Home in Cabool, MO at the age of 88.

Eulah grew up in the Texas County area with her siblings, John Aaron, Lee Roy, Alvin Ray, Helen Loudean and Martha Ann Collins.  She graduated from Cabool High School in 1947.  Following graduation she was united in marriage to Alfred Wayne Woods on August 5, 1951 at the Assembly of God Church in Cabool.  One child was born to this union on Sept. 7, 1955, Daniel Wayne Woods.  Her husband, Wayne Woods, passed away on February 27, 1971.  She later married Don Stovall in 1974.

Most of her life had been spent in the Texas-Wright County area.  During her lifetime she experienced several occupations, all of which she handled expertly.  Among others, she was a telephone operator in the days of rotary dialing, she served as a supervisor in the local shoe factory and she was well known as a librarian in the Mtn. Grove Library—her love of books and reading had led her to this, a favorite occupation.  She accepted Jesus Christ as her person savior when she was at a very young age and had been a devoted Christian all her life.  She was a beautiful gracious lady and always had a pleasant, caring attitude; she was a favorite among her relatives and friends.

Eulah was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Wayne Woods and her siblings, John Aaron and Alvin Ray Collins.  She is survived by her husband, Don Stovall; her son, Danny Woods and wife, May Anne of Mtn. Grove, MO; two step daughters, Kim Dexter and husband, Danny and Deborah Owen and husband, Sigel; sister, Loudean Jacob and husband, Connie; brother, Lee Roy Collins; sister, Martha Collins; grandchildren, Alyssa Collins, Alyson Dexter and Caleb and Laura Owen; as well as a host of relatives, nieces, nephews and friends.
