Obituary:

Evelyn Maxine Foster, 93 of Cabool, MO passed on to her eternal home on April 28, 2012 at the Kabul Nursing Home. She was born on February 7, 1919 in Green Mountain, Iowa the youngest of the three children of James and Pricella (Hale) Curry.

Evelyn was united in marriage to Russell Ewing Foster on March 15, 1938 in Conrad, Iowa.  No children were born to this union. She was saved at an early age.  She was a very talented musician and began playing the piano at the age of 11 yrs.  She also played the accordion, she always played by ear; never bothering to learn the notes.  She enjoyed serving her Lord through her music.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, James and Pricella Curry; her husband of 68 years, Russell E. Foster; her sister, Inez and her brother, Ansel. She is survived by two brothers in law, Kenneth Foster of Washburn, Illinois and his five children, Carroll Foster of Mt. Vernon, Mo, and wife, Macky Foster, Springfield, Mo, and their three children; nephew, Arnold Curry and wife, Nellie of Springfield, Mo; niece, Helene (Curry) Bawlin; a special friend, Lorene Neher of the Kabul Nursing Home; as well as several cousins and friends.
