IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Falus Palmer,
Jr.
December 15, 1920 – May 30, 2012
Mr. Falus Palmer, Jr., 91 of Cabool, MO passed away on May 30, 2012 at the Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston, MO. He was born on December 15, 1920 in Cabool, MO the son of Falus, Sr. and Myrtle (O'Hearn) Palmer.
"Junior", as he was known to many, was united in marriage to Clematis "Jo" Almond on August 18, 1946. He worked for many years as an auctioneer, both estate and livestock. He spent most of his time buying and selling cattle.
Junior continued to work on his farm and spend every moment he could with his great grandsons as long as his health permitted. There was nothing he loved more than getting them in the truck and taking them for a drive; to the creek or out to see the cows. There was not a place he could go that he did not see someone he knew and something to talk about. He had remained active in the United Methodist Church of Cabool since 1955.
Junior was preceded in death by his parents and his wife and love of his life for 65 years, Jo. He is survived by his son, Ron Palmer; his granddaughter, Stephanie Dann and husband, Chris; and his great grandsons, CJ, Stephen and Phillip. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Services were at 10:00am, Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at the Cabool United Methodist Church with Dr. Michael Lawton officiating. Pallbearers were Charlile Kiser, Gary Maggard, Steve Wiley, Scott Lauderdale, John Plummer and Chris Dann.
