Obituary:

Floreen Ruth Peabody was born on July 28, 1920 in New Leipzig, ND the daughter of Otto and Alvina (Herring) Hodell. She departed this life on September 30, 2012 at the Magnolia Square Nursing Home in Springfield, MO at the age of 92.

Floreen was a long time resident of Elk Crreek and Cabool, MO. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cabool.

Floreen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl Peabody; her daughter, Jan White and her brothers, Hugo and Harry Hodell. She is survived by her sons, Mark Peabody and wife, Rita of Joplin, MO and Craig Peabody of Springfield, MO; her grandchildren, Brock Peabody, Jennifer Rhodes, Steve Peabody, Doug Peabody, Cody White and Lidia Cox; and 12 great grandchildren.
