Obituary:

Frances Rheda West, 82 of Cabool, MO passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2013. She was born on September 19, 1930 in New Orleans, LA the daughter of Ray Wilson, Sr. and Frances (Millard) Wilson.

She attended Rocky Branch School and graduated from Cabool High School in 1948. Frances was united in marriage to Bill West in 1951 and to this union two children were born, Rheda Jeane and William David.

Frances worked with her husband in their well drilling business for many years, her official job would be considered a secretary; but she was responsible for many other duties as well. She volunteered for many organizations and was a lifetime member of the VFW. She was a member of the Cabool Christian Church and attended as long as her health permitted. She lived with her granddaughter, Angie Gott, whom she was very close to the last few years.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill; a grandson, Bobby Joe Walker; and two brothers, Robert and Kenneth Wilson. She is survived by her daughter, Jeane Walker and husband, David; her son, David West; 5 grandchildren, Angie Gott and husband, Steve, Miranda Scott and husband, Roy, Chad Walker and wife, Twyllia, Dale West and wife, Leah and Levi West and friend, Tiffany; 8 great grandchildren, Alyssa Wilson, Zach Hern, RD a Dalton Hall, Lindsey Hayes, Rein and Kelley West and Hartley Walker; 2 great great grandchildren, Tamika Hern and Isabell Hall and one on the way. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
