Gary Lee Jones, 91, of Nixa, Missouri, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025. He was born on October 23, 1934, in Cabool, Missouri, to Wayne and Thelma (Daniels) Jones.

Gary graduated from McPherson College and later earned his dental degree in Kansas City. Over the years, he shared his knowledge and skills through teaching high school biology, teaching at the dental school in Lincoln, Nebraska, and running his own private dental practice. He took great pride in his work and in helping others.

Outside of his career, Gary had many interests that brought him joy. He enjoyed collecting antique clocks, bird watching, rock hunting, and spending time in his garden. His curiosity and appreciation for learning continued throughout his life.

Gary is survived by his brother, Roy Jones of Springfield, Missouri; his son, Brent Jones of Santa Fe, New Mexico and his daughter, Lori Kimball and her family of San Diego, California. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

A private family service will be held to honor his life and memory.
