Georgia (Smith) Edwards, 77 of Mtn. Grove, MO passed away on March 29, 2016 at the Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. She was born on February 22, 1939 in Brown Branch, MO the daughter of Joe and Alta (Nalley) Smith.

Georgia was united in marriage to Dorman Ercell Edwards on November 21, 1958 in Norwood, MO and to this union five children were born. She enjoyed going to the lake, making crafts and helping her children and grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Alta Mabel Smith; one brother, Ray Smith; infant son, Dorman Lynn Edwards; granddaughter, Amanda Lee Edwards; great grandson, Destyn Heath Yarger; father-in-law, John Ercell Edwards and mother-in-law, Esther Fay Edwards. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Dorman Ercell Edwards of the home; one daughter, Dorna Yarger and husband, Wendell of Mtn. Grove, MO; three sons, Keavin Edwards and wife, Leslie of Cabool, MO, Jeff Edwards and wife, Teresa of Mtn. Grove, MO and Darren Edwards and wife, Crystal of Norwood, MO; 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; one sister, Betty Mains of Willard, MO and a host of other relatives and friends. She will be solely missed by all her family and friends.
