Then they moved to Missouri in 2013. Where they then began serving as Pastor at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church in Cabool, MO. She came to love Missouri very much. She was a wonderful pastors wife and friend.
Gloria enjoyed all types of cooking and spent countless hours canning with her husband. She loved to cook meals for her family. That was her love language; if you were sick, no doubt she would stop everything and make you chicken and noodles. During the Holidays, she would always make sure everyone had their favorite pie. At Christmas time she would spend days making cookies and goodies to take to their church folk and she will always be the one who makes the best peanut butter bars.
Gloria and Sam loved to travel and visit their friends, she was a dear friend to many. She was an amazing "Mom", "Granny" delighting in the details of our lives.
In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by two loving brothers and one sister. Those left holding her memory dear in their hearts are her children, Kevin and wife, Joelle, Tony and wife, Liese and Terri and husband, Paul; grandchildren, Phillip, Tiffany, Brittany, Stephanie, Garrett, Chloe and Deanna and great grandchildren, Mason, Micah, Sofia, Sadie, Maclain, Gage, Gabriella, Rosalie, Ezra, Oliver, Eyla and Evangeline.
Gloria was a person who reminded us all most importantly Jesus was the most important thing, always do what would honor him and secondly always value family. Love them and cherish them, she always did! Her daughter said it this way, she was so very loved and always a picture of Grace. We will be keeping that picture in our hearts until we see her again in Heaven.
