Obituary:

Harold Clayton Smith, 87 of Cabool, MO passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at his home. He was born on July 18, 1925 in Eunice, MO the son of the late James and Lena (Garrison) Smith.

Harold was a hard worker all of his life; he worked for the railroad in St. Louis for many years and was a firefighter for the City of Cabool. He loved the outdoors; hunting, fishing and camping, but most of all he loved his children and grandchildren.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lena Smith; four sisters and two brothers. He is survived by his two children, Jennifer Smith of Cabool and Robert Smith of Norwood; two brothers, Herbert Smith of Cabool and Charles Smith of Elk Creek; 11 grandchildren, Austin, Autum, Kyleigh Sigears of Cabool, Chelsea Cloven of West Plains, Brennan, Taylor, Bailee Smith of Mtn. Grove, Seth, Tylar, Ethan and Hallie Lanzini of Norwood; numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends who will miss him very much. A special thanks to these people; David Singleton, Theresa Smith, Nathan Smith, Bobby Smith, Michael Sigears, Heather Brumley, Wendy Schmid and all of the Three Rivers Hospice staff for the care and love they gave him.
