Hazen Cyril Carr died peacefully at Kabul Nursing Home, Cabool, Missouri on Monday July 2, 2018 at the age of 93. He was born in Grand Rapids MI on March 31, 1925 the son of Hazen, Sr. and Chloe (Nott) Carr.
He married Phyllis Dene Fuller on September 6, 1947, in Grand Rapids, MI. They enjoyed nearly 71 years of marriage. Hazen served honorably in the Army during WW2 and was a member of the Cabool Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses.
Hazen was preceded in death by his son, Philip Hazen Carr (Mary Ann Mutrux) of Willow Springs MO. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Carr of Cabool, MO; their four sons, Timothy George Carr (Cheryl) of Bensenville IL, Todd Alan Carr (Paula) of Midland MI, Nathan Lyle Carr (Janet) of Edcouch TX and Jon Russell Carr (Arlene) of Jeffersonton VA; ten grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00pm, October 20, 2018, at the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah Witnesses in Cabool, MO, with a reception to follow. The family would like to thank the Jehovah Witness family for all their loving support and the Kabul Nursing home for their compassionate care. No memorial donations are requested.
