Howard Lee Ice, 83 of Cabool, MO departed this life on June 23, 2024 at his home.  He was born April 13, 1941 to O.E. "Tom" and Pearl (Odle) Ice the fourth child between sisters Shirley, Betty, Nina, Nancy and Linda.

Howard attended Cabool Schools and graduated with the Class of 1959.  He enlisted in the US Navy and proudly served on the USS Galveston.  After his discharge from the Navy he was employed at International Harvester in Moline, Illinois.

In retirement he enjoyed his farm, hunting and gardening; as well as being a member of the local Masonic Lodge and the American Legion Post 30 in Mtn. Grove.

Left to mourn his passing are his five sisters, Shirley McLaughlin Pearce, Betty Nevill Perry, Nina Waits, Nancy Doherty and Linda Ratcliffe; many nieces and nephews and his close friends and neighbors.
