Inez was born April 2, 1915 at the home of her parents in the Grimmett community near West Plains. She was the oldest of three children born to Leroy and Iva Morgan. Inez attended West Plains High School although she was able to complete only through the 10 th grade due to transportation problems.

On April 14, 1934 she married Clarence E. Brandt, and to this union five children were born; Lee Allen, Clarence R., Garry N., Irma May, and Roy Edward.

Inez moved with her family to the Cabool area, Bado community, in 1951. She lived in the general Bado area until she moved into the Kabul Nursing Home facilities in November, 2001.

Inez became a Christian as a young girl while attending the New Liberty Baptist Church located in Howell County. She was a loving mother who lived an exemplary life and encouraged her children to live a Christian life also. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Cabool.
