Jackie Wayne Wells, Sr., 64 of Cabool, MO went to be with his Lord on July 6, 2011, at the Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, MO. He was born August 28, 1946 in Willow Springs, Missouri, to Ruby Louise Wells and Earl Wesley Wells.
He was a lifetime resident of the Cabool, Missouri area, with working experience in Colorado, Lebanon, and St. Louis. His most recent employment was with Cabool Home Center, where he was employed as a clerk and "Jack" of all trades. His church home was Second Baptist Church in Cabool, Missouri, where he served as an Usher and was involved in numerous activities. While his health permitted, he helped deliver Meals on Wheels to the Cabool area.
He also was very active in the Neighborhood Watch program in the Pea Ridge Area. Jack was an avid hunter and fisherman his whole life. Another interest of his was traveling. One of his fond memories was a trip to Ireland to see his granddaughter, while she was studying there. He loved to visit with family and friends; the Underwood Reunion in June of this year was very special to his heart. He would have been proud to know that his donation to the Heartland Lions Eye Bank was gratefully accepted.
Jack was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Louise Wells Watts and his father, Euel Wesley Wells. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Erlene (Gray) Wells; his children, Terry Pass - Husband Adam of Texas, David Wells - Wife Charlonda of Kansas, Rick Wells of Kansas, Jackie Wells - Wife Christy of Missouri, Valentine Shiverdeck - Husband Tim of Missouri, Sherri Parrish- husband Jerry of Missouri, Christi Baker of Missouri and Michael Klamert - wife Chastity of Missouri; his siblings, Wesley Dean Means and wife of Australia, Don Wells, wife Kathy of Missouri, Glenda Wells - husband, Don of Missouri, George Wells - of Missouri, Lela Messick - of Arizona, Patsy Watts of Missouri and Karen Besaw of Arkansas; 21 grandchildren, Summer, Dustin, & Christiana Pass, Megan Clemmons, Sheldon & Karen Wells, Austin Ross, Zacheriah Hobbs, Jacob & Noah Wells, Cheyenne, Weslee, Reece, & Brenton Shiverdeck, Jamilia Klamert, Jessica Parrish, Sheyenne, Houston, Madison, & Savannah Klamert; 4 great grandchildren and countless family and friends.
