Obituary:

Mr. James S. Livingston, 83 of Cabool, MO passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2011 at his home. He was born on March 29, 1928 in Newton County, MO the son of James E. and Helen (Lyons) Livingston.

James was united in marriage to Marilyn McCallister on April 16, 1951 and to this union four children were born, Donald, Anita, Roger and David. They started their family while living in Peoria, IL, where he worked for Caterpillar. In 1954 they moved back to Missouri and bought a farm near Tyrone. He then started a 40 year career of truck driving, he drove for Sunny Hill Poultry and the Producers Creamery locally and a number of other companies during his career.

James loved his family and spending time with them, but he especially enjoyed his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Roger and a brother, Charles. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; his children, Donald Livingston and wife, Bonnie of Beckley, WV, Anita Homer and husband, Larry of Greenwood, IN and David Livingston and wife, Kimberly of Kansas City, MO; 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, 1 brother and numerous nieces, nephews and relatives. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
