Obituary:

James Eldon Reiners was born January 21, 1950 in Pontiac, Illinois to Eldon and Rosemary (Eisele) Reiners where he was the eldest of four children.

Jim moved with his family to Texas County, Missouri at the age of 16, where he graduated from Houston High School in 1968. He attended University of Missouri, Columbia from 1968-1971 and studied Soil Science and Agronomy. He then transferred to St. Louis Community College and received his associates degree in Civil Engineering, 1973.

He was married to Marjorie (Coats) Reiners June 9, 1978 in Howell County, Missouri. To this marriage was born three daughters, Melissa, Anna, and Rebecca. Jim and Marjorie founded Morningland Dairy in 1980 where they farmed and produced organic, raw milk cheese for 27 years. Following this, Jim and Marjorie continued farming, raising crops and cattle. Jim loved farming and the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, camping, four-wheeling, and canoeing. He also enjoyed spending time with his two grandsons. Jim loved to travel with his family and friends, as well as dancing with his wife Marjorie (clogging, square dancing, and country dance). He was always looking forward to the next great adventure. Jim passed away on his farm in Bado, Missouri June 23, 2014, with his family by his side.

Jim is survived by wife, Marjorie Reiners of the home; daughter, Melissa Aldridge and husband, Mark of Republic, Missouri and their sons, Maddox and Morgan; daughter, Anna Marie Reiners of San Francisco, California; daughter, Rebecca Cunningham and husband, Daniel of Dallas, Texas; father, Eldon Reiners of Bucyrus, Missouri; brother, Tim Reiners and wife Judy of Mtn. Grove, Missouri; brother, Gary Reiners and wife, Kandy of Success, Missouri; sister, Kimberly Armstrong and husband, Luie of Neosho, Missouri; as well as other relatives and many friends.

He was predeceased in death by his mother Rosemary Reiners, December 13, 2012.

He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
