James "Ron" Ronald Caffey, 76, Springfield, MO entered into eternal peace on December 20, 2017. He was born on July 7, 1941 in Springfield, MO, son of the late Ferrell and Velma (Pennycuick) Caffey.

Ron graduated from Cabool High School in 1959 and worked in the family businesses.  Ron was the proud owner of Caffey Automotive and when he wasn't working he was watching westerns, his beloved sports teams, attending MSU Bears games, or spending time with friends. He enjoyed camping, boating, skiing, hunting, music, classic cars, fantasy sports, family game nights, and especially being "Papa" to his grandkids.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 53 years, Carole Caffey; a daughter, Deah Chisholm and a brother, Doug Caffey. His surviving children are Cristi and Robert Burk, McAllen, TX and Holli and Frank East, Ozark, MO; grandchildren, Shae Carroll, Wyatt Burk, Preslee and Mason East;, great grandchildren, Raelyn Ross and Jaxon Kelley; and many other family members.
