Janet Kay (Hunter) Williams, 54 of Cabool, MO departed this life peacefully in her sleep on Monday, October 12, 2015 at her home following a short illness. She was born on October 25, 1960 in Cabool, MO the daughter of Wayne and Joyce (Anderson) Hunter. She attended Cabool Schools all 12 years and graduated with the Class of 1978. In later years she continued her education at Drury University for 2 years.
Janet was employed at Brown Shoe Company until its closing; she then started substitute teaching in the Cabool Schools where she really enjoyed working with the children as long as her health allowed. She was baptized at an early age and was an active member of Victory Worship Center in Cabool; she loved and served the Lord and her church family every day of her life, never giving up faith.
Janet was united in marriage to David Williams on January 21, 1999 and to this union one son, Bailey, was born.
Janet was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Hunter; her grandparents and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She is survived by her loving husband, David of the home; two sons, Blake Smith of Cabool, MO and Bailey Williams of the home; her mother, Lonnie Joyce Hunter of Cabool, MO; a sister, Sherry Parle and husband, Johnny of Cabool, MO; a brother, Robert Hunter of Houston, MO; a half-brother, Donnie Anderson of Mansfield, TX; uncle, Delbert Hunter and wife, Cheryl of Cabool, MO; aunt, Dorothy Means of Cabool, MO; aunt, Ginger Hunter; father and mother-in-law, Glen and Karen Williams of Cabool, MO; as well as many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She will be missed by everyone that knew and loved her.
